I respectfully dispute this charge because the carpet was already old and showed significant wear when I moved into the apartment. Throughout my tenancy, I cleaned and maintained the carpet to the best of my ability. The dark discoloration is the result of the carpet’s age and normal wear, not negligence or damage on my part.I do not believe I should be held responsible for replacement costs related to ordinary wear and aging. I respectfully request that this charge be reviewed and removed.

I lived there for 4 years and when I moved in the carpet was already not the best, we had to have it cleaned after I moved in because there was so much cat hair in the floor from the previous resident to where I couldn’t sleep in the room the first couple of days due to allergies. Carpet is replaced every 5 years I thought😔

The flooring is old I did not do anything to the flooring I haven’t spilled anything. The images don’t show any damage. Leaving a backpack in an area is not damage. I never spilled anything under my bed frame.

I am disputing the $325 charge for carpet replacement listed on my Financial Move-Out Statement. I do not believe this charge is justified because there was no damage to the carpet in my room when I moved out, and I left the carpet in clean and the same condition as when I moved in.I only lived in the apartment for approximately two months, and during that time I did not engage in any activity that would have damaged or stained the carpet. I regularly kept my room clean and vacuumed the carpet before moving out. The carpet was left clean and free of any damage, stains, burns, excessive wear, or other condition that would reasonably require a $325 charge.I have both my original move-in photographs and my move-out photographs documenting the condition of the room and carpet. The photographs show that the carpet looks the same in both sets of pictures. The carpet is naturally a brown color, and the darker appearance in the photographs is not evidence of staining or damage. In my move-out photographs, you can clearly see the vacuum streaks throughout the carpet, demonstrating that I cleaned the room before leaving. When comparing the move-in and move-out photographs, there is no noticeable deterioration or damage to the carpet.I also documented the condition of the apartment when I moved in. The only issue I reported at move-in was a broken door that had been left by the previous roommate, and I submitted a maintenance request regarding that issue. I left the carpet/flooring in the same condition in which I received it.Additionally, the photographs I have are time-stamped, so they can be compared directly to establish the condition of the carpet at both move-in and move-out. Because I was only in possession of the apartment for two months, did not damage it, cleaned and vacuumed my room before moving out, and have photographic documentation showing that the carpet remained in the same condition as it was at move-in, I am requesting that the $325 carpet charge be removed from my Financial Move-Out Statement.

The charges I received for the carpet are unacceptable. There were no damages when I left. I would like to know what is in the photos that is wrong. I took my own photos that are time stamped. I also would like to know if the photos are even from my building/room?

shower caddy removal: that was there when i moved in, i took the room as is. I should not be responsible for this charge.flooring: i took the room as is, they had dogs and the carpet was not cleaned prior to or after i moved in. the carpet needed to be replaced long before i moved in, the girls that were there before completely wrecked the place.

There is no visible damage to the flooring.

I was charged 325$ for carpet that is in perfectly acceptable condition. The carpet was routinely cleaned and taken care of throughout the year. No spills, damage, or other issues happened to the carpet. The carpet was also dirty upon move in, prompting a deep clean upon move in.

I recently received a charge for damaged floors in my room. There seems to be discoloration on the carpet, however nothing had occurred during my 2 month stay which would have caused that. It is not something me or my roommates ever noticed and it seems like it was already like that when I arrived. I have some pictures from when I came here which originally submitted, and there seemed to be discoloration in the beginning but I didn't assume that to be any damage. I have some pcitures that show some slight discoloration, but I don't have near the front of the door. I would really urge this charge to be reconsidered as I was there for a short time and I did not do anything or keep anything in my room which would have caused this.

I’m disputing the carpet replacement charge. Based on the move-out photos took, the carpet shows no tearing or damage beyond normal wear from everyday use over the course of my tenancy. I never spilled anything on the carpet or caused any damage to it that would warrant replacement. I’m requesting documentation, inspection notes, or comparison photos that support the decision to replace the carpet, since the condition observed at move-out does not justify a full replacement.I’d also like to raise the $50 paint charge for the area under the desk. That mark appeared to be discoloration from humidity or moisture in the wall, not something caused by me. I didn’t cause any damage to that wall, and I don’t believe this should be treated the same as tenant-caused paint damage. I’d like this charge reconsidered or clarified.
