Treatment was 100 percent successful. I walked out of the clinic with no noticeable pain. Was able to bend my knee in the car without pain and later walked my dog for 40 minutes without pain. Later that evening I sat down and got up from my recliner pain free. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. This was my second experience at the Lorton clinic. My first experience was surgery on my left knee at the My Vernon hospital. I’m still pain free.

I've been a patient of Dr Steven Saddler for over 10 years. He's operated on my right shoulder and my left knee twice. I think he's an excellent surgeon and I appreciate his personability and professionalism. However, EVERY time I've ever gone to see him I'm forced to wait 30, 45, and sometimes 60 minutes (like today) past my scheduled appointment time for him to see me. I understand he's a busy surgeon and takes his time worth each patient but no one should have to wait that long past their scheduled appointment time. I've got a life too. They need to schedule his patients farther apart so the wait times aren't so ridiculous. It's a very frustrating experience EVERY single time I see him.

Dr. Saddler is an ultra-professional doctor but the process to get my prescription renewals each month through his staff is extremely poor. It is due to a breakdown in internal communication somewhere in the admin chain. Unfortunately this can reflect badly on Dr. Saddler. After this morning’s appointment with Dr. Saddler, his assistant told me she would send my pharmacy the prescription renewal. Two hours later I was at the pharmacy and they had not received the renewal request. I called and talked to someone in the admin chain (twice) about the renewal and was told she had sent a note (twice) to Dr. Saddler. The second time she said she would call me back because she was not at Dr. Saddler’s location. It’s been two hours and I’m still waiting.

Dr. Saddler is obviously an excellent surgeon and is very easy to communicate with. I also appreciate that he has no interest in assigning blame. This has come up several times because neither PT nor patients are perfect. Instead of chastising, he just figures out how to fix the problem. That really helps to reduce the stress level!
