Overall very good experience. I bought my engine back in March for a 2006 F150 5.4. Listed as 73,000k on it. It came in in about 3 weeks, maybe a little longer. The engine was very clean and had almost all parts included, it wasn't missing anything of extreme importance. They were easy parts to find and cheap too. The oil pan was detached and bolts were in a bag taped to the engine. I didn't like that at first, but it prevented the oil pain from getting dented so it was a good idea. The engine was shipped very securely and had no damage from shipping. Once the engine was in, it ran great. Still does. Very quiet and powerful. Have put 4k on it already and no issues. Just make sure you follow their warranty rules. I had the garage put all new spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, exhaust manifolds, serp. belt, and a few other parts on it before they dropped it in so I won't have to mess with it for a while. Changing the oil after 1k like they require really made the truck run even better. No issues other than a couple weeks later I got a check engine light due to a bad knock sensor. So they had to tear back into it and fix that. Once that was done, I've had absolutely no issues. Great engine and decent shipping overall. Would buy again.

Great company to order an engine from. Ordering process was extremely easy and was completed in a very short period of time. Costumer Service personnel were courteous and very respectful. They had the engine I needed and I certainly enjoyed the purchasing experience.

I ordered and paid for my BMW engine on August 3, 2017. It is now 8/16 at 4:20 PM and no word from SWEngines about when my motor will ship. I will let you know when I get the engine about how it works. Hope I get it soon. If you order, do not accept their standard " Your engine should ship in 7 days" answer. Ask them to speak to the people pulling the engine and the people testing the engine and get a more reasonable time to ship. I planned on 7 days and now it costs me more money for storage and rental. I ordered my engine on August 3rd, told 7-10 days to ship. Today is August 14th and I am told they are pulling the engine now and cleaning and testing the engine and I should receive it around the 21st of August. This cost me extra money by planning on 7-10 days and now I have to pay storage fees. They should be upfront on a timeline by communicating from the sales department with the engine removal personnel and then shipping. If they had advised me of the delay upfront I would have planned for it or made other purchase arrangements if I needed the engine sooner. So please ask up front for them to check because I thing they just quote whatever? Austin Texas

I haven't received my motor yet but the price was reasonable and for what looks to be a great motor. With the 5 year warranty it's a great deal

All of those comments apply to my experience with you all. I'm the finance person in the family so once my husband had found the right engine, the rest was up to me. There was a problem with our bank releasing the money but your rep suggested that I call them and they probably needed my OK due to the amount and yes, indeed that solved the problem. Now we and our mechanic wait for engine to arrive. Thanks again.
