Context: car was originally booked in for a routine service and annual MOT on 03/02/2022, unfortuately on 23/01/2022 car blew out injectors on no.s 1 and 2 cyclinders and had to be recovered by the AA initially to our home address. On 24/01, we arranged - via a call to Audi service line - for the car to be dropped off at Teeside Audi on 28/01 for repair and then the booked service/MOT. Luckily, I called Audi on 27/01 to confirm that still OK to recover car to Teeside Audi on 28/01, as call agent advised that car not booked in. After agent checked call recording from 24/01 he confirmed that booking would be honoured. Car recovered to Teeside Audi service centre pn 28/01, with initial (diagnostic) work on car commencing on or about 02/02, with car finally been returned to us on 15/02 - reasons for delay in return included COVID-19 staffing issues (i.e. in workshop), need to order parts (i.e. injector and then wheel bearing), and then an (unspecified) incident in the workshop on 11/02 causing delay in final wheel alignment following repacement of wheel bearing. Our 4 rather than 5 star ratings stem from a couple of issues :1) First relates to communications: issue here two-fold i.e.:i) apparent confusion of repair booking made on 24/01, and then linking of service/MOT and repair bookings (we had to repeatedly mention fact that there were two sets of works required); and,ii) update reporting on work - on couple of occasions we had difficulty in getting through to service desk and then on couple of occasions requested call backs were not received.2) Workshop delay - secondly, delay (even with COVID-19 staffing issue) in the repair and return of the vehicle - with our car been with workshop for c.2 weeks for what were - reported as - relatively starightforward and minor repairs, and pre-release set-up/final checks.TO STESS we had absolutely NO issue with the individual service agent dealing with our vehicle - she was good, professional and honest as to issues causing delay and understood/handled well our frustration re: delayed completion of repairs/work on our vehicle.

Booking options are limited and too far in advance for warranty work 6+ week wait. The options to book on the MyAudi app should be clearer as not accurate as to what dates are available.

Overall I was very pleased with my visit. Met at the door and shown to the relevant desk was really helpful. Everyone was friendly and welcoming which some years ago when we visited the dealership was definitely not the case. Well done everyone.

Service reception staff ( especially Fiona Williams) were exceptional. Best service reception staff ever encountered.

The video was overkill and certainly not needed, if there’s a problem I understand a video would help but without anything to report seemed pointless, I’ve only mentioned this because ultimately the owner of the car is paying for the video and I for one would rather have my tyre pressure’s checked, takes the same time but to me it’s more important.

It would be nice if I didn't have to wait three weeks after I booked the service. The staff were very friendly and I am very happy with the service I got.
