The management team was informative and I felt welcome to your company however that positive vibe was not my experience from other staff members that I came in contact with on the units when working on my assign shift, no one wanted too take the time to familiarize me to what I needed to know to do my job effectively . I was just put on the floor without any training to do the job well.

Your management did not want to hear no problems they wanted everything swept underneath the rug. They didn’t wanna deal with anything and I felt ashamed to work there after Candy left because nobody cared. Verbal abuse to the residence was not addressed properly no consequences to the staff that didn’t do their job management only cared about having staff in the building did not care that the residents was not being taken care of properly. I have been doing this job since I was 16 years old and I’m 57 now I tried to address some of these issues and I got ignored completely. As soon as I gave my two weeks notice management ignored me completely did not even bother to ask me why I was leaving my work speaks for itself. You can ask any Resident any family member or you can ask any supervisor that I have dealt with other than the ones that you have at the Claiborne I know this will not do no good to even be sending this.

I was drowning with my work, staffing due to covering ALL of the staff call outs. Even when Kia(the scheduler) was on call, she was scheduling her self double shifts, so I had to come in every weekend to cover call outs. The scheduler should have to cover on call for staffing, I had to do MOD on call, plus clinical on call 24/7. Even trying to take a day off(first day in two weeks) no one left me alone, even Jackie, families and staff were calling me. I worked 8 hours at home. I worked Friday night till 10:30pm, I was crying my back hurt so bad, from my WC injury at the Claiborne. There were two call outs for 3-11 Friday, Ronald and Jessica B. Saturday and Sunday would have been the same. I was trying to tell Jackie that I was overwhelmed I was working 12 to 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, and couldn’t keep up. My back was killing me working on the floor. Staff refusing to train new staff, refusing to go to AL dining, med techs not doing there cart audits, refusing to do their jobs. Families yelling at me all of the time, calling me at all hours of the night. All Jackie said they were helping out but not with what I needed, she was helping in dining. Patricia was giving me work to do, and everything that needed to be done with the new pharmacy work, which was a lot!! Plus my regular responsibilities. I was left to take care of it all myself. Covering for staff all of the time pulled me away from my responsibilities as the DOW. There were a lot of days I had to help serve meals for lunch and dinner per Jackie. Jackie telling me not to tell Patricia what goes on here, so if I did talk to Patricia then Jackie would have been upset. There was even employees bringing their kids to work with them on 3-11 and 11-7. The staff was running the place, and they would make new employees quit. Jackie had no control of the building.I was stuck in a rip current trying to swim to shore, and going down fast. I only wish the best for the Claiborne.

The interview criteria was not accurately described based on the actual demands required for this position regarding availability and scheduling. Overall staffing issues led to fielding concerns from residents and families associated with residents regarding living conditions and general well-being with no clear resolutions being consistently available. Employees were very determined, hard working and eager to welcome new members.

Listen to the residents and employees voices. We are here for our residents and we only want what’s best for them.

One thing our home office, regional team, or VP support team could do better for our community is spend more time directly connecting to the staff that work here and residents who live here. Listen to staff feedback on a regular workday. Listen to the residents voice on what they would like to see change. The residents are who we are here for.

I love my jog as Life Enrichment Assistant. I wish I would have found this job years ago! My direct supervisor is ‘awesome’. We share ideas each morning and I am strongly encouraged to come in with new ideas. I love the residents as well. I feel very fulfilled in my position and love when I see the residents smile and laugh. Life, is hard and as we get older it gets harder. If I can bring a little joy to these residents - it makes me happy. Claiborne isn’t ‘perfect’, no job actually is. Yes, we have issues, but I strongly believe we have the BEST ED in place to make us SHINE! Thank you!

Not much at all its like the time clock it's very unuse friendly lot of employees are missing hours because of it and I believe you use that for that purpose of employees losing hours

Can't think of anything for instance the time clock is totally ridiculous

Making sure my schedule is consistent.
