Pricing Increases, activities ( in AL), the community as a whole needs updating, (carpet, paint, light fixtures.) Tours have noticed and said something during my tours.

External Barriers are competitors offering decreased rates, families may not understand the evidence-based practices of our Tempus Community design, families not fully understanding the disease process of Dementia.Internal Barrier(s) - (1) Executive Directors having a "Going along to get along" mentally instead of being up front about what staff provide, and the cost increases related to LOC. This leads to unrealistic expectations from families which leads to dissatisfaction. (2) Unrealistic expectations from families regarding care services.

Since the desperate situation for housekeeping it was fast yet efficient!

I really enjoyed orientation. Each department went it depth explaining the importance of their role. Maintenance took the time out to not only explain everything on the sheet, but also gave us an tour of the facility. He showed us what to do when certain obstacles occur. He prepared us for all problems that could arise while working.
