I had scheduled an appointment and called to schedule. We changed offices due to the pediatric doctor was no longer at the Granger location. I arrived at my appointment, after getting a notification of the appointment the day before, and one...they had scheduled me on the adult side not the pediatric as this was for my 9year old, but that appointment wasn't in the system. I wasn't going to wait an hour to be seen. We will no longer be using the dental center for pediatric dentistry.

I was grossly overquoted at this dental office. $2,300 for two tooth extractions, bone grafting at both sites, and 2 full hours of IV sedation. Even after explaining that I did not want implants, I was warned that I could experience bone loss and facial changes without the grafts. When I asked about having the extractions done while awake, I was told they needed to be surgical because the teeth might not be straightforward to pull, despite both being fully erupted. For comparison, I previously had four impacted wisdom teeth removed in approximately 20 minutes. I was also told I had five additional cavities requiring fillings, including one involving a tooth that already has a crown.I sought a second opinion without telling the new dentist anything about the original treatment plan. I received the complete opposite assessment: approximately $200 for the extractions, no bone grafting needed, and both teeth described as straightforward pulls. I was also told there were only two questionable areas not five cavities. The drastic difference in the diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and cost was extremely concerning.
