It has been great living here! I have lived here for over 2 years and find it homey, clean, spacious, affordable and amazing amenities.

Security doesn’t chase off homeless from the property and apparently when someone parks in your paid spot the tow company doesn’t come any more. Gym still missing some weights and inventory needs to be taken.

Hallways are quite long and some apts are far from the elevator. Kind and smart tour guide. Tour covered everything I wondered about

Andrew was fantastic. He was very informative and thorough. The apartments were very clean and well laid out. It was also one of the most reasonably priced location

Once had the service staff in to look at my leaking washing machine and instead of fixing it they told me to not change the settings. At the beginning of the year I struggled with getting out of the garage and the office manager at the time told me to get out of my car and manually open the garage which is so unsafe with how people drive in that garage. Issue seemed to resolve itself. Then it started acting up again. Had to go down three different times to try and get it resolved and was incorrectly told by a staff member that the garage door should "automatically open" and at that point it was just "user error" that I was having issues. I had lived at the building for two and a half years I knew how the garage was supposed to open. Eventually had to resolve myself by getting a new battery for the remote with my own money after I figured out that was the problem. I don't know if either of those two individuals still work there. It is super unsafe with how many false fire alarms there are. At least that has gotten under control for the most part.It is a nice building but it definitely has its struggles

Good afternoon,I hope you are doing well. I wanted to provide some constructive feedback regarding the overall condition of the building. While we truly appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining the property, the building is in need of some thoughtful care.In the evening, the Douglas sign is very dim—almost appearing turned off—which affects both visibility and the presentation of the property. There are also a number of broken tiles throughout the building, and the pool area is beginning to erode. The pool would benefit from a power wash, fresh paint, and general refresh to prevent further wear.Although the lobby remains one of the strongest features of the property, several amenities are no longer functioning as intended. The pool table does not sit level on the floor and leans to one side, and the net has holes. The TV on the balcony also does not turn on. Across multiple floors, there are dents and wall damage from items being moved, which need to be filled and repainted to maintain a clean and professional appearance. From a safety standpoint, cameras in the garage would be a meaningful improvement. Additionally, the elevator button panel is beginning to stick and may require repairs soon. Exterior window cleaning would also greatly improve the appearance and overall image of the property.Considering how much residents invest every month, reliable amenities and accessibility matter. Many tenants would appreciate the pool remaining open later—closing at midnight instead of 10 PM. The grills also do not appear to be working and need cleaning or repair. Lastly, it would be extremely helpful if the gate could be opened from the outside, so residents do not have to walk around the entire building to re-enter, which can be quite inconvenient.Thank you for taking the time to review these concerns. We understand that improvements require planning, coordination, and budgeting, and we appreciate the work that has already been done. These updates would help ensure the building continues to feel safe, welcoming, and well cared for for everyone who lives here.

Just wish there were more resident events. Most of the events that took place were hosted by Starry (internet provider); but location of the Douglas was great. Super walkable.

The staff is incredible! Very friendly and proactive. However, the actual building is not in great condition. The hallways are covered in pet urine, the entrances and exits into and out of the building are the same. I feel like a little pressure washing outside and near the doors would go a long way.
