Just wish there were more resident events. Most of the events that took place were hosted by Starry (internet provider); but location of the Douglas was great. Super walkable.

I told old management I wanted to move out at the end of my lease 2 months in because they threatened to send my dog to pet control. Because management changed and they had no proof of this convo I had to pay 3.5K extra on top of my new rent because there was not written notice by the old team. Absolute scam I have ruined my credit from this experience.

The office would not hear my concerns and lied about them when I tried to have them addressed. Brandee yelled at me and threatened to call police when I tried to confront her about my experience with these 2 issues.

My overall living experience at the Douglas was not great. Despite Brandi being a phenomenal property manager, my car was broken into more than once and on my last 2 nights, my parking spot was assigned to someone else so I was left with nowhere to park. Towards the end of my lease there were many roaches in my apartment due to someone down the hall having an infestation.

Move Out: Elevator wasn’t held despite 5 email messages exchanged including a reminder the day before. Staff messed up my move out date Generally: over my four years at the building, the quality of service provided by the staff went down each year. At the end, asking the staff a question essentially made me feel like I was bothering them despite it literally being their job
