I told old management I wanted to move out at the end of my lease 2 months in because they threatened to send my dog to pet control. Because management changed and they had no proof of this convo I had to pay 3.5K extra on top of my new rent because there was not written notice by the old team. Absolute scam I have ruined my credit from this experience.

Overall, loved my time living at the Douglas. A few problems here and there but the staff actively attempt to make things better in the community.

There has to be a better system for package delivery I’ve had meds stolen Amazon packages missing or stolen the luxr is the worst

The community is beautiful, the apartments are well put together and you all except medium dogs. The tour guide was great also, answered all of our questions and took his time.

The mail situation has been a nightmare, I paid for a locker situation that’s hardly utilized properly. Some of the staff is great, some of the staff is less than such. I received a noise complaint when I wasn’t home for days, and the person issuing the complaint could not give me a when or why so I could ensure I was being a decent neighbor. The “amenities” generally half work on a good day, and for the price of rent in a studio, I find that to be unacceptable. I appreciate the cleanliness and the trash valet is very great, but all in all this place is a cash grab.

The environment surrounding me is very unpleasant due to someone above me stomping very loud all day, and the person under me plays loud bass everyday.

Evan took great care of me and made sure I saw all the amenities on top of some open units to ensure I would love it here. While the unit I ended up applying for was not available, he showed me similar units and explained what the difference would be in my unit.

Package pickup situation is really frustrating for the fact that your package might be in one of 4 different locations and the limited pickup hours offered by the leasing office. It was frustrating the pool was closed for 6 months due to the fault of management and no compensation was made.
