Focus on managing the building-wide roach infestation issue. Every negative review of the building on Google mentions this so I do not want to hear that this is unit specific. The continued insistence that this is not an issue is condescending, frustrating, and works against solving the issue. Everyone knows it exists so just work to solve it rather than trying to save face. I have done LOTS of due diligence to remove roach families from my own apartment but they always return after some time because it is a building issue. I have roach traps all across my apartment, have personally killed hundreds of them over the course of living in the building, and have had to remove nests that have formed in various locations in my apartment. I don’t feel I should have to check every nook and cranny of my apartment every night to feel safe to go to sleep without bugs crawling on me or my belongings. I know a bug company comes on Mondays but I really think either the frequency needs to be upped or there needs to be (at-minimum) monthly sprays of the ENTIRE building including ALL units. At the very least, interested tenants should have the option to have a standing visit by the big company on a consistent basis rather than one-off requests. If you don’t spray every inch possible, the roaches are never going to go away. It’s an old building in a pest-heavy part of the city, I know it’s difficult, but despite it being the only major issue I have had, it alone has made me consider moving after my lease despite loving everything else about the building. It’s not only simply gross, but it’s an issue of health because the droppings can cause sickness in human and pets.

Do not move here. Broke my lease early after only 2 months. Air conditioning didn’t work when I moved in and made multiple tickets and takes to staff to get it fixed. Was never fixed. Weird smell in the hall ways and in the unit. Smelt something sour as well and found yellow chunky gunk coming out of the back of the fridge. Didn’t bother asking for help cleaning it bc of my AC never even getting fixed after 8 weeks of bugging them. Found 2 roaches in the bathroom. My deposit took 8 weeks to get back and I had to call and email them for 4 of them to get my money. Workers were nice but not helpful in the slightest bit. Lazy and did nothing. Worse living experience thus far. DONT DO IT
