My son moved out of the Highlands on 7/31/2026 and on his resident portal it say the refund was issued on 8/21 but I never receive the refund that was to be deposited back in the account on file. Please issue the credit! If should not of been mailed!!!Best,Ty Kirkpatrick

I am being charged for carpet removal for carpet that was dirty and stained before I moved in and trash removal, but I didn’t leave anything trash in my unit. Pictures of my carpet were put in my initial move in inspection form.

There are 2 charges on the move out statement for the same door. Should only be one charge. See the photos attached to the move out statement.

I don’t know what was wrong with my room everything was great and clean

I was charged for things that were not mine. What was left in the bathroom was my other roommate who was in room C.

I need to know the status of my deposit

I am getting charged for cleaning stains on my carpet that were already there from the previous tenants. When I moved into this apartment It wasn’t cleaned and it was disgusting. I left it MUCH cleaner than when I moved in. The carpet had already looked the way it did when I arrived to 322. I have provided pictures from when I first moved in to prove this.

I am disputing these charges because I do not see any specific or significant damage in the photos provided that would justify the amount being charged. The photos do not clearly show what damage was caused, when it occurred, or how it can be attributed to me. I believe the evidence provided is insufficient to justify these charges, especially considering that I had documented the condition of the apartment when I moved in.I moved out in May and was no longer living in the apartment when these charges were assessed. My roommates were still living there after I moved out, and the areas mentioned in the charges were shared spaces also. Therefore, I do not believe these charges can reasonably be attributed to me personally. For these reasons, I respectfully request that these charges be reviewed. I would also appreciate receiving clear documentation and photographs showing the specific damage, when it occurred, and why I am being held individually responsible for it, especially since I had already moved out while my roommates continued living in the apartment.

I'm being charged for "damages" to the carpet, but the carpet was beyond repair before I ever moved in.

I am writing to formally dispute the $150.00 "Turn Paint Fee" on my move-out statement for Lease #15387365 (Unit 922-B).Prior to moving out, the wall was patched smooth and ready for routine paint. Under NRS 118A.242, landlords may only deduct amounts reasonably necessary to repair tenant damage beyond normal wear and tear. A $150.00 charge for basic touch-up paint on a pre-patched wall is excessive. Please provide an itemized bill with receipts showing the exact labor hours and material costs that total $150.00 specifically for this work. Otherwise, I request that this charge be waived or adjusted to a reasonable spot-painting cost.
