My husband and I moved into The International Apartments about a month ago, and our experience has been wonderful from start to finish. We were relocating cross-country and hadn’t even set foot in Alberta yet, which could have made things stressful—but Reina made the entire process seamless. She walked us through a virtual tour of both the unit and the property, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond by connecting us with the right departments to handle onboarding, our lease, and scheduling our move-in date. Having everything arranged before we arrived gave us so much peace of mind. Then came moving day… and a major hiccup. We missed our scheduled flight, which pushed back everything we had planned. Jhannie was an absolute godsend. She was gracious, patient, and incredibly understanding during what felt like a chaotic moment for us. She worked with us multiple times to reschedule our move-in and made sure we were accommodated without added stress.Since settling in, we’ve found the apartment to be clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The location is also a huge plus—close to plenty of stores and businesses, which makes it especially convenient for young professionals.Overall, we’re really happy with our decision to call The International Apartments home and are grateful for the supportive team who made our transition so smooth.

I thoroughly enjoy staying at the international apartment, the biggest issues I have is the dryers do not function properly, I have had mine looked at and cleaned on three different occasions but still takes two to three attempts at drying a small load, which I have heard is common with other tenants. The other concern is the elevator which has been down for close to four years now, when I moved in having three elevators was one of the deciding factors coming from a building that had two and one being down for maintenance or move ins. I thought I would avoid that here but it's almost a weekly occurrence where I have to take the stairs because one elevator is still broken, one is occupied for a move in and the third is attempting to pick everyone up on each floor.I still enjoy he building and it's located is what keeps me around but if something ideal came along and these issues persisted, I wouldn't be opposed to finding better.

You can go over my communications with the building management to understand my position. I would encourage you to do your homework to understand why I have provided response as I have.

As far as I am aware the issue has not been resolved. I requested a call back for access but received no such call. As far as I understand the closet doors still bang againt eachother as no one has come to fix it.

I asked to be transferred to a different unit, I eventually got approval, but the process was drawn out and communication was poor. Additionally, after receiving approval the person responsible for the new agreement didn't know what she was doing. She selected a move in date of Dec 30 when the approval to transfer put my move out at Dec 28. When I asked about it I was told to talk to the property manager and even though I sent her multiple emails I was ignored. I visited the office in person during working hours to find the manager off for lunch until 1:30pm. A different person who was there told me the manager would respond to me that day, but I still got no response. The communication, organization and accountability is terrible and stressful.
