When asking for clarification on the move out form, the gentleman in the front office was rude. My fiancé was on the phone with me and could confirm.

A lot of little things added up, but the kicker was the bargain basement cleanup after flooding in my building back in January. A thorough inspection of potential damage was not performed, nothing treated and I later found mold, collapsing or spalling drywall and cabinetry and bulging linoleum. from the poor unit layout design, crazy high electricity bills from inefficient 90s era HVAC, rude and condescending staff (not all of them), lax security or policy enforcement, etc, etc. I would not recommend MA for the prices being asked.

The staff is wonderful it’s just the amenities are quite outdated for the price, along with the walls being entirely way too thin, my neighbor above me really interrupted my way of living there.

We lived more than 6 years here and never felt any discomfort or faced any problems.

The rent increases for renewal were not worth it. Lots of kids making lots of noise which annoyed us and aggravated our dog constantly, had regular issues with massive centipedes, a clicking noise that persisted the entire time we lived in the unit. The inability of other residents to have common decency around the trash room was also incredibly frustrating. Often had to step ON other people’s trash to even get to the door.

For most of my stay at ‘The Montgomery’, I was quite pleased with the staff. Even when I needed to vacate the apartment for 3-4 weeks due to a upstairs neighbor flooding my apartment when they punctured the fire sprinkler pipes, the staff was very helpful during the time my apartment was being cleaned up. However, I was greatly disappointed I was charged for steam cleaning of my apartment since the indentations of my normal furniture (beds and drawers) could be seen at move out inspection. Indentations from furniture is considered normal wear and tear on any apartment rug. I spent most of my time when I rented the apartment at my fiancee, now spouse’s place so there was extremely little wear and tear on the carpets. In addition, I hired a professional cleaner to immaculately clean the apartment. If it was not for that less than pleasant experience on move out, I would give the Montgomery outstanding scores throughout the survey.

I had a wonderful experience staying in and moving out of the residence. I would come back if time allowed.
