Hello!I had spoke with Maggie, a worker for the summit, and provided pictures associated with my apartment and room. I had moved out early and was worried there would be charges, and to prevent my roomates who were still living there from costing me money, voiced my concern.Furthermore, the stain in the carpet and broken blinds were there when I moved into my room. The previous tenant had dropped something before I had moved into. When I inquired about this the first time with maintenance, I never heard back. Please look at the old pictures from when the previous tenant moved out.

Give an hour situation from Management at the Summit. We were told that carpet would be replaced and we would not face any financial expectations or charges. Carpet had not been replaced for over five years, and the apartment was due for regularly scheduled updates that had been put off in past years.

My Blinds in my bedroom were already broken when I moved in and the couch was already torn when I moved in February, 7 months after my roommates had already moved in. I filled out a paper form for damages that were there already and during this time there was a change in people who own the complex so the systems were down. I’m not responsible for those charges. Also the trash charges I moved everything I owned out of the apartment. Roommate A did not. She lived in the room towards front door of the apartment. It was not my responsibility to throw her trash out.

I got charged for a carpet cleaning in the living room. They took a picture of the stain, which was already there when I moved in. I made note of carpet stains when I did the initial inspection on my apartment

There are charges for carpet cleaning. The carpet was like that when we moved-in. Upon move-in day we had to get our own carpet cleaner and run over it six times before the water was no longer completely black. The stains were never removed by property staff before we moved in. I do not want to pay for cleaning of something I was not responsible for and was not handled before we moved in.

Kitchen: I am disputing the cleaning/trash charge for the main kitchen area. I moved out of the apartment in May and, before leaving, removed all of my personal belongings and trash and thoroughly cleaned the apartment, including the kitchen area. Another person continued living in the apartment for most of the summer after I moved out. Because I had already removed all of my belongings and trash before my move-out, I do not believe the trash or cleaning charge is attributable to me. I am requesting that this charge be reviewed and removed from my move-out charges.Bathroom: I am disputing the cleaning charge for the bathtub. The yellow discoloration present in the tub was related to the building's water and was not the result of dirt or excessive buildup from my use. I had previously cleaned the bathtub, but the yellow discoloration returned afterward. Because this discoloration appears to be a recurring issue associated with the water rather than a condition caused by my tenancy, I am requesting that this charge be reviewed and removed.

I would like to dispute charges for replacing the parts for couches/chairs. These are damages that were caused by cats owned by roommates prior to my tenancy. Additionally, there are damages to the paint that were also there before I moved in (such as the black markings made by the blinds). I'm not sure if I am being charged for the chair in my room, but I have photos that that was damaged prior as well.**(Please note that this form does not allow me to include all photos I have of the damages.)**

I was promised that I could move into my apartment earlier than my lease date because my medical school started before my lease can begin. I signed my lease back in September 2025. I even made it clear at the time of signing what my needs were and when my school year would start. My first day of class was August 3 and today is August 10 and I have still not been able to move into my Apartment. Every time I call it is yet another excuse about either painting, maintenance or cleaning. The manager has done at least two or three walk-throughs of the unit and it is still not up to par. My frustration is in the fact that I feel like my unit is not being prioritized, despite knowing the fact that I am displaced and that I signed my lease and communicated my needs so far in advance. while the team has been positive and professional my frustration is in the fact that nobody even the manager Kennedy seem to have any conflict resolution skills, and instead choose to rely on excuses every day. I would greatly appreciate some kind of follow up because I am extremely disappointed in my experience.
