I am not paying for these charges, he moved out May 15, everything was cleaned and nothing was damaged when he moved out. And why the electricity was that much when he wasn’t living there is beyond me.

In the photos provided with our move-out statement, there is a picture of a metal rack and a utensil organizer, we were charged a "turn cleaning fee" for the items. Both of these items under our impressions were in the apartment when we moved it. The utensil organizer we thought was ours at first, and attempted to remove it, but thought we were going to break it due to it being glued in potentially. The metal rack is not from anyone in the apartment, and have no clue where it was found or was to begin with and are confused on what the rack could have been for. As you can see the entire apartment was spotless, so I am concerned as to why the inspectors would think those items were left on purpose. we can provide soe videos of the rooms being empty.

At least two of these charges on my FMO are ridiculous. First off, the couch was damaged when we moved in a year ago. Secondly, that screen that needed to be replaced was not ever there in the first place. Charging students who are already low on funds is outrageous. I am more than happy to pay $5 for the plunger I left in my bathroom, but I refuse to pay for anything else.

1. Cleaning and Trash Fee.Please see attached image of email exchange with Maggie, whom made it very clear to me that I would not be charged for trash after I sent pictures to Maggie confirming what remained in the aparment after I moved out all of my belongings. Since Kenneth Johnson was already a tennant when I first moved in, many of the items were not thrown out that belonged to his previous roomates. I had moved every one of my belongings out prior to the remainder of my roomates leaving.2. Carpet stain in the bedroom. I've copied a picture from the date I moved in, with the date at the top, that clearly shows the burn stain in the carpet there underneath the blue stool, which I had originally placed their to hide the burn mark from the previous tennant. When maintenance was fixing other thigns, they said they would take a look at it, without us needing to put a request in and never came back to fix it.3. Stain in the living room carpet comes from when our AC unit had mold and was leaking all over the floor. This was before the mold issue was resolved by painting over the mold. I've copied that picture below, and according to my maintenance request you will see that I placed a number of request regarding the mold issue.Thank you!

I would like to dispute the cleaning charge for my carpet. When I moved in, the carpet was already lifting and looking rough in different areas of the bedroom. No matter how much I vacuumed, which I did often, the carpet still had lines from where I’ve moved the furniture around and even lines from my vaccuum being used. From the picture attached to my account for my move out balance I’m unsure if the charge is just from the lines in the carpet or something else. But as I’ve mentioned, the carpet was and has been like that since I’ve moved in.

That doesn’t look like the tub to start and the bathroom was in bad shape to start so we did not do that.

I have photos! I’m just not able to add them!

The carpet in the bedroom was dirty when I moved in, I vacuumed the room before turning the keys in. I do not feel like I should have to pay $50 for the carpet to be cleaned.

I was charged for damage in shared common area. My roommate Finn Habel (Unit E 181-A) received a final move out statement dated showing a $0.00 balance and no charge for this carpet. A shared common area charge cannot be applied selectively. Either all residents who used the space are responsible for it, or none are. Since Finn was not charged, this charge should not be applied to me either, and I am requesting it be removed on that basis.Furthermore, this carpet condition is not new damage from my tenancy. My graduate program, the Ohio University Sports Administration program, has had residents in this unit for many years through a longstanding relationship with The Summit, and this carpet condition has been present and known to management for a significant period of time predating my lease.I am requesting that this charge be removed in full.

I just want to see/hear what needed to be cleaned in my room that caused for $110? I moved out at the end of March to start a job on March 30th back home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and cleaned out my entire room and bathroom before I left. I gave my keys to my roommates so that they could still use my room if they needed for interviews or storage but from my understanding they had done their cleaning of my room already prior to it being checked. Can you please share photos as well as a list of what needed to be cleaned and explain the charge of $110. Please see the photos of my room from March 27th before I left the country.
