Staffing model needs to be addressed.There needs to be 2 nurses & 2 KMA ON BOTH days & evenings….then 1 nurse & 1 KMA on nights. This team should not be figured into the caregivers needed for each shift. Need to reevaluate going back to 8-hour shifts.There should be an HS snack for the memory care residents each evening especially for our diabetics.Dinner is served early & is typically light…the residents get hungry before bed.
