Giving a recommendation "Based on this maintenance interaction only..." seems a little disingenuous, don't you think? I think this question needs to be revisited and revised so it comes across as more honest and less misleading. Having said that, please allow me to address a few items of concern as a current tenant of The Terrace Apartments. Parking enforcement is atrocious and parking rules and regulations need to be revamped as soon as possible. One example; there are vehicles being "stored/warehoused" in tenant/visitor parking spaces, thus taking up scarce parking spaces that could rightfully be used by other tenants and visitors. These vehicles should either be removed from the property or the owners should be required to use the indoor parking garages associated with their apartment/unit, to store their vehicle. My neighbor parks a large box truck (which is NOT their primary driven vehicle) that frequently doesn't move for weeks at a time. Another example; If I'm not mistaken your lease agreements clearly state how many tenants may legally take occupancy in a given unit. Issue parking permits, stickers, etc. to tenants based on the maximum household size of what is specified in their lease agreements. There are tenants living in this development that have exceeded the number of occupants based on their lease agreements and in many cases, it increases the number of vehicles attributed to each household. This directly impacts the quantity of available parking spaces for other tenants and/or guests. Vehicles NOT displaying the parking permit/sticker must park on the street. Did not realize maintenance would destroy the bird nest themselves and not move the birds. Two birds fell and died during the process. Repeatedly I asked if pest control should be the one to remove and rehome the nest and he kept insisting he has to do it. I’m pretty sure California requires pest control to remove a bird’s nest.
