After hitting a curb trying to get out of the way of another driver, I damaged two wheels and all four tires. Stephen Merritt went out of his way to assist me: calling a rental car agency on my behalf (Toyota was out of rental cars), going to my glove compartment to retrieve my insurance card, etc., etc. An especially helpful person.

The performance/service was very good, but the cost was excessive. A reputable car repair service could have done the work (replaced the alternator) for several hundred dollars less. I appreciate Toyota service expertise, and always take my cars to the dealership for maintenance and repairs, but parts and labor costs seem to be excessive. Guessing it's partly because of inadequate car sales and trying to make up some of the difference in dealership income.
