I loved the property. The only area I felt 2 Light could improve is the lobby. Both 1Light and 3Light have stunning lobbies. I think 2Light's lobby pales in comparison. The rest of the property was great!

A few things- the rent prices for the size of the unit did not match. There are just as nice apartments and homes in KC for half the price. I ended up moving to a place that is 1,500 square feet for the same price as my unit at Two Light that was only 550 square feet.Another reason- the cleanliness of the dog park and lobby/entryway/front of the building was lacking. There was almost always dog urine on the rug in the entry way or on the door. It smelled so bad. There was dog waste everywhere out front and at the park. I had to throw away multiple pairs of shoes from stepping in poop.The dog park was basically just mud and dirt. It used to be mulched and kept clean years ago when i first moved in, but you guys stopped taking care of it. There was dog poop everywhere. I was hoping that situation was going to get better when cleaners were hired, but it never did. The dog gate was broken for months. The bag and trash posts were old and falling apart. The trees got taken down. And then you guys stopped refreshing the mulch. So it’s essentially just dirt and netting and poop. I think for the price we pay, there should be a well kept space for dogs. That is what originally sold me on two light. The dog park would benefit from either turf or some type of regular cleaning services. Even for the area out front. I contacted you guys multiple times over my last years there about this situation and I know others did, as well. But nothing was ever done about it.Another thing that sold me on two light that was never working- the coffee machine. I think it probably worked a hand full of times. It was disappointing that I could never use it. I heard you guys got a new one though, so that’s good!

This is a WONDERFUL COMPLEX! Great amenities and always felt safe. Great parking facility! We moved back to Montana where we have a home. If we were to move again to KC, it would be Two Light hands down!!!
