You may like to know that my wife and I went into the same dealership 35 years ago. At that time we were ignored whilst we walked around the showroom . We were also ignored by half a dozen sales staff when we headed for the exit door, they preferred to continue their conversation. As a result of their rudeness and arrogance we vowed we would never buy a BMW car. Over the last 35 years we have bought many cars, limiting our choices to Mercedes, Jaguar, and LexusWe only went back to you on this occasion because we could not find what we wanted at your competitors, and we did so with very low expectations. Chris Todd was the salesperson we saw . He was new to your company so lacked some knowledge however he was a great Ambassador for your company and for BMW. He is the reason we bought.

I feel the process of selling cars has become too scripted and is too focussed on trying to sell additional products like insurance, finance etc. I made it clear that I wasn’t interested in these items but still had to sit through the many presentations. I feel as though this results in key things like knowledge about the cars, service plans, loyalty of customers etc being overlooked.

Ben did a great job and kept me updated as to how my order was progressing. He also rang me a couple of days later after I collected my car to see how I was getting on which was a nice touch
