Wish the car had been fully valeted rather than just a quick hoover over. The seats and roof lining require professional valeting to remove stains. An adds cost I’m not happy about.

Over the years I have bought many cars from Colbrooke and Burgess, Carrs of Hexham, Benfield and now Lookers. I change my car quite regular yearly or every two years. I have a private number plate on both and I’ve never had any problems collecting my new purchase with my private plate on. However this time this was not an option. I was quite disappointed with not being able to collect my new purchase with my private plate on. I did not require finance, and I had no trade in. So it was quite straight forward purchase . I was offered gap insurance service plans and a dymondbrite polish, all I declined because I change so often. I have wondered if this was the reason that I was unable to wait for collection of the car with my private plate on? The salesman on this purchase was a guy which was totally new to me as my usual salesman left a few months earlier, to another dealer and brand. However the new salesman was a delight to deal with. In 2021 I bought x2 cars in one month from Lookers, an Audi and a VW, on both occasions i picked up my purchase’s with my plate on. It certainly on this occasion did not feel like it was a personal treat of a purchase for myself. In todays car buying market, there is a lot of ways to purchase a car, online now is very popular. I’d have thought buying from a main dealer where I have bought many cars from, that they could have gone the extra mile to ensure good customer service for returning business. My VW is due to be changed later in the year I may give internet Cinch etc a try and maybe get that new car feeling from them. I was not going to highlight this has a disappointment, but felt it was something that could be improved on, to ensure good return business.

the experience with Tito was great and he was quick at turning round options on finance. The deal breaker was the Apr rate at 9.9% as opposed to BMW at 6.9% for M series cars.
