Hi Team, I renewed my lease for University Gateway and I am leasing the same unit 712-C & D. However, I am being charged with $12.50 cleaning move out fees, for a "turn cleaning fee" that I was not informed of before being charged. It is unclear what this charge is for, and there was no proof or pictures substantiating this fee. Since I did not move units, or move out of the building, is there any way these charges can be removed please? Thank you so much!

I don’t understand why I have two payments for paint work. All of the other tenants were charged 93.33 for paint work as was I but I have an additional charge of 184 for more paint work

When Isabel moved in the tub was damaged. There are photos that show how it looked before are in her documents file on the website. The “stains” that you cited are from your repair job and not from Isabel. Therefore we request that the refinished of the tub charge be removed. Thank you.

I am disputing the $53.23 electricity charge for the period of June 1 through July 25. I moved out of the apartment on May 12 and was no longer residing in or using the apartment during the period for which this charge was assessed.Additionally, other individuals continued to stay in the apartment during the summer after I had moved out, including someone who occupied my roommate’s bed and one other suite-mates who stayed at the apartment. Therefore, I do not believe I should be responsible for electricity usage incurred after my move-out date.I am requesting that this $53.23 charge be removed from my move-out statement and that my account be adjusted accordingly.

I got a charge for a window replacement but there weren’t any damaged windows in my unit or in the common area so I don’t understand what I’m being charged for.

Second, there are two separate charges related to ceiling/wall repair and painting. I understand that the wall may need to be repainted, but I would like clarification on why a repair fee was also charged. The ceiling was already cracked when I initially moved in, and I did not damage either the walls or the ceiling during my stay. Please provide details regarding the specific damage associated with these charges.

Upon the email I received regarding the costs that have been incurred after my lease ended, I see that the photos included that supported the costs were labeled as room 820A and B, which is not my room. To confirm, I was in room 820D. I think there may have been a glitch with my official room, as it had said I was in room 820B on Resident Portal for a few months, but I believe was later resolved. Please let me know if any issues were made and my possible next steps, thank you very much.

I was charged twice for garbage removal services. However, before moving out, I had already cleaned the room, and the cost of garbage removal was much higher than the 40 dollor mentioned in the apartment's mail.

I am disputing the charges listed on my Final Move-Out Statement totaling $158.48.Throughout my lease, I paid the monthly Damage Liability Waiver fee, including my final month. I am concerned about why I am being charged additional fees for painting, cleaning, and trash removal when I was paying for this program throughout my tenancy. I would like clarification on what the Damage Liability Waiver covers and why these specific charges were not covered.Additionally, I am disputing the final electricity charge of $53.23. I already made my July payment, and I moved out on July 23, 2026. I would like a detailed explanation of why I am being charged an additional electricity balance after my move-out and confirmation that I am not being billed for any usage that was already paid.I am requesting documentation supporting these charges, including the move-out inspection report, photos, itemized invoices/work orders for the painting and cleaning fees, and a breakdown of the final electricity calculation.

Window damage charge was sent to room, roomate and I never touched the shared window all year and maintenance went in there many times to do window cleaning. Additionally maintenance went in several times to check for any damages throughout term of lease and nothing was reported damaged before. Either the window was always damaged prior to us moving in or maintenance damaged windows during their window cleaning and did not report to us. The only way damage could have occurred was because of maintenance as roommate and I never touched the windows. Thus financial burden should not be placed on tenants as this was not our fault.
