Dear Visiting Angels, It is a major decision to bring homecare into your home for your loved ones. My parents had been very independent in their own home until my Father’s heart attack. He required triple by-pass surgery, then suffered two strokes. My sister and I both live two hours away with families of our own, work full-time, and knew that we were not in a position to care for my parents during the week. We knew that Home Health Services would not be enough as we watched our Mom now the primary caregiver starting to decline. My parents had made the decision to age in place. We needed to find someone we could trust. We began by getting in touch with a reputable homecare agency, Visiting Angels. We asked them to help us by providing a compatible caregiver to watch over and assist with care in our absence during these difficult times. Emily assured us that Visiting Angels would be able to provide a caregiver in addition to continuity of care for our family. God watched over us and sent us our very own Angel, Carol Culp. Carol is dependable, hardworking and loves our parents like family. My sister and I are comforted knowing she is there on a weekly basis. She has been providing care in their home for eight months. She accompanies them to Doctor’s appointments, attends to my Father’s ADL’s, and encourages his daily mobility exercises. Time spent with my Dad allows my Mom to step way to attend to household needs, grocery’s & pharmacy runs. My Mom fully trusts Carol. My Mom is comfortable leaving the house to get back into her own self-care routine by attending silver sneakers. Carol truly loves our parents and they love her. We have been blessed to have her with us on this journey. Carol is our heart, as well as our second set of eyes, providing uplifting care so they can remain in their own home. Visiting angels went above and beyond to get my husband a caregiver for a weekend. It was very short notice but tthey came through like a shining star. Can’t thank them enough for all their help. The care was excellent

Unfortunately , we all lose loved ones, and if you do have the chance, to make them as comfortable , as they can be, my sisters and I made the right chose. Having Visiting Angels, by our mother’s side, from day one, we knew we made the right decision . Tristianna was part of our family immediately. Took all of our concerns right away, the day she started, as our mother’s live in caregiver. She and mom, connected instantly, and remained close, til her passing. Denise was a helpful and caring companion. You could tell that she thought very highly of us even when she wasn't at her job, checking in to make sure we were okay. We would recommend Denise to help others.
