When we first met with Visiting Angels they came to our father’s place of residence. My siblings and I were able to ask all of the questions that we had. And we’re very satisfied with the answers we were given. They came to my father’s room and continued our conversation. They asked my father questions, to do their best to try to fit the right caregiver with him.My father has the same caregiver Monday through Friday, and the same caregiver on the weekends.They both work with my father as he is doing some physical therapy. They are very knowledgeable and are kept up-to-date on the changes that happened with my father. And they happen almost weekly. We are in communication with one another via email, text message or phone call. The communication has been exceptional!

I am applying for a job with Visiting Angels. The lady who will interview me has been very patient. I have had to get my annual Wellness exam with my Doctor. I have an interview on April 2 for a part time job. I am healthy and ready to go. I have experience as a caregiver for my 97 year old mother who died 3 years ago from Dementia. VA is a very respected company and is my choice for employment because of its reputation.

Where to start?! Jennifer has become family to us. She is trustworthy, kind and thorough, making sure to care for my Dad's felt needs but even more so, the emotional ones as well. Whether making him a healthy salad or playing a round of cribbage (while NOT letting him win!!), Jennifer makes sure that my Dad is safe, happy and healthy. On multiple occasions, Jennifer has gone above and beyond. When my Dad needed to go to the hospital or was having unexpected health issues, she made sure he got to Urgent Care and visited him in the ER, helping me advocate for him since I was not able to be in town. On two occasions, I have been undergoing chemo myself or recovering from surgery and Jennifer was able to fill in, providing for my Dad's needs when I couldn't be present. It is a gift beyond measure for our family to have Jennifer in our lives and specifically, helping my Dad.
