I began working for Visiting Angels about a month ago. I am a vet of the Army and I love and take pride in taking care of fellow vets. This career has given me that opportunity to help those who have laid their lives on the line for our country. LOVE THIS CAREER!

We utilized Visiting Angels for a brief time before my father passed. I contacted management regarding concerns I had after the first day and was extremely pleased with the manner of which they corrected it: additional training once the employee returned from her weekend off. My father passed within a few hours after a caregiver arrived the next day and I learned Visiting Angels paid her for the entire shift even though she was sent home early; we were charged for the time she was at the house only.The owner, Heather, was available to assist me anytime I asked for her. I was never rushed and always felt heard. Her compassion for her employees and clients is unmatched. I highly encourage anyone needing home care to look no further than Visiting Angels.

I've been employed here almost a year. I've been lucky with my clients. Love what I do! So far my experience has been good. I do however wished they provided insurance for us caretaker's.

I have been working off and on with Visiting Angels since 2018 and the Lubbock Visting Angel's is the best company I have ever worked for. Last night I worked a overnight shift and La'Cette text me and asked me to text her when I got home. I am a hour and a half away. THEY not only care about the caregivers they care for the clients. They try to match the caregiver and client. My client last night was a new one and we had a great visit. I recommend Visiting Angel's 100 percent. We love our clients !

The office staff and all the ladies who came to be with my mom were outstanding---caring, gentle, professional, and everything I might want in an agency like this. Whenever one of the ladies came to be with Mom, my mom would say, "An angel is visiting me again today." How sweet is that?? The ladies who came to the house had uniforms on. That made it appear so professional. My 93-year-old mom appreciated that.

Each and every one of our health care providers was wonderful in their own way.Amanda is a very sweet young lady. She was very attentive to Gary's needs and always made sure to let Gary know he could tell her if she was doing something she could do differently. She came on a walk us one day and even worked 12-1/2 hours straight. She didn't seem to mind at all but I felt bad as it was a long day for her and I know she has little kids at home. She always had a smile and made Gary laugh. They even played Harry Potter Uno and Sorry.Tye was also a fun and caring provider. She always made us laugh and was also attentive to Gary's needs. Even when she had tire troubles she was still able to make it here with a smile on her face and a story to tell. She always made sure Gary had his nasal strip each night to help with his snoring. If I forgot it, she would go and get it and put it on Gary's nose. I think she even picked up an extra shift.Kora was also a fun and caring provider. She was attentive to Gary's needs and made sure he knew he could just tell her when he needed something. They played Harry Potter Uno and one game took them an hour before there was a winner. She was funny as she would say she had to go make Gary's bed before she forgot about it.Emily is a very sweet young lady. She made Gary feel very comfortable. She lowered the legs on our new shower bench and even gave him a shower, She recommended we might want to get a shower stool as Gary'sfeet do not touch the floor.Leta was also very sweet. She made Gary feel very comfortable. She came with us to Mast Shoes so Gary could try on a pair which had to be ordered, Due to the heavy traffic and construction we were a half hour late getting back to the house. I told her to please make sure she put an extra half hour down on her time sheet but she said she wouldn't do it. I felt bad as she should get paid for that time as she was with Gary and I.Marcie was also very caring. I think she picked up part of an extra shift. She made Gary feel very comfortable and even showed us some exercises we could do to help with Gary's tightness in his legs.Lucille was also very sweet and kind to Gary. She made him feel very comfortable. When it was time for lunch she asked him what he wanted and made him a sandwich and gave him whatever fruit he picked. She also came on a walk with us,Chelsea and Faye were also extremely helpful. There were a few glitches in the beginning but they worked very hard to make sure we had someone coming at all times.Thank you to everyone, You are all ANGELS.

We were able to leave Auntie Laura home without worries of her being alone and something happening to her. The care she received was like that of a family member! Very happy with our services. Thank you for truly being our visiting angels!

We have been given the best caregiver a person can receive. Terri Thomas at Visiting Angels Kansas City, MO has been our main caregiver for almost 5 years.Terri was the primary caregiver for my mom. She stepped in when another national caregiving company couldn’t meet the needs. We were absolutely desperate for good care. My mom was at home in hospice and they we’re thinking maybe a couple of weeks. Terri turned my mom’s care totally around. She had the skills and experience we needed. Her personality was perfect for my mom. She didn’t take my place as a daughter, but Terri became her best friend. It gave me security to know how well my mom was cared for. Mom couldn’t see, but she knew that calm voice who spent many, many hours with her at her bedside. Mom never ate or did as well when relief caregivers were there. They were good, but Terri was on her wavelength. She anticipated her needs, responses, and knew what to try next. She listened to mom, and gave her choices so mom always felt in control over what she wanted. I firmly believe because of Terri’s beyond excellent care my mom lived another two years in Terri’s care through Visiting Angels. She was there through ice storms, flooding, and severe weather.She was always there for us.Mom made her heavenly journey two years ago. Since then, Terri has actively cared for my dad left behind. She does an excellent job with him also. He doesn’t require the level of care mom did yet, but Terri definitely provides a great level of companionship. With her coming in on a regular schedule, it has allowed my dad to stay in his home. I know I will never have to be concerned about my dad being taken advantage of in any way by a caregiver because she is there. I don’t know how you found her, but THANK YOU Visiting Angels Kansas City for sending Terri our way!

Everything about this company is great. The office Staff work really hard to make sure the clients are getting the care they deserve. The caregivers are amazing!
