Good company

Having a stranger come in your house and take care of a loved one is a very hard thing to accept. My husband had a stroke and has “sun Down syndrome” so he is not always pleasant. Visiting Angels came and discussed his case. We agreed on the time and the care. Getting him a shower and ready for bed. I have had the same care giver for over a year, and to say she is an Angel is not enough. She is so efficient, caring, and always makes my husband feel he is the most important. The two days that Mellisa Granahan has off he is always asking if she is coming back. She is easy to talk with, and always keeps things in neat order. When a patient has dementia, routine is very important. Melissa is always reliable, so very pleasant, and a very hard worker. She truly is a Angel to us😇

The Visiting Angels team helped my parents, especially my mom adjust to independent living with everyday tasks that she needed help with. Her caregiver quickly established a bond with mom and they worked hand in hand to accomplish whatever the day's activities demanded.Throughout the entire process, the management team's responsiveness was second to none. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. Living in another state from my parents comes with its own level of stress, but the team including our caregiver Beth was excellent and put my mind at ease that my parents were in good hands.I highly recommend this team!

My granddaughter, Vanessa Herivaux, who works at Visiting Angels, worked with the hospice nurses who attended my wife, her grandmother, during her struggle with cancer. Vanessa was inspired by this experience to become a caregiver. Vanessa is warm and caring and is attentive with all she works with.
