We've been using Visiting Angels for my parents for well over a year now and they've been wonderful! The managers are very attentive to emails we send and they have been able to adjust the caretakers' schedules to fit my parents' needs. And although we try to keep last minute changes to a bare minimum, when that arises, the managers have always been able to accommodate us.The caretakers themselves are competent and personable but if you find one to not be a good match for your loved one, the managers are understanding of that and will work quickly to adjust to a different caretaker.Overall, we have been very satisfied with our long term experience using Visiting Angels to be with our parents when we can't be so I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this sort of service.

I am a caregiver with Visiting Angels UPLAND. And, I am proud to wear my badge! The office ladies call us Angels but they are Angels too!! The love they have for our clients definitely shine! Not only is the communication 100 with our clients but with the caregiver too! They always find ways to show their appreciation to us. Very understanding with my busy schedule. My 97 year old mother was fiercely independent and insisted on living on her own. Luckily her townhouse was very close to our house, but we had a vacation scheduled and wanted someone to visit and care for her while we were away. I reached out to Kristie at Visiting Angels and she found the perfect caregiver for Mom. Her name is Teresa and Mom truly connected with her. We were able to be away without worry. After we returned we had Teresa continue on for a bit, too. We were very pleased with Kristie who was very kind and caring. Overall, our experience with Visiting Angels of Harrisburg was very positive.

Visiting Angels is a great place to work! The management staff is very supportive and here for all of the caregivers, clients and the clients family. I started as a caregiver and had the opportunity to join the office team. I personally have seen and experienced the support and love from all levels. I am blessed and thankful to work here for almost 12 years!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to convey our interaction with one of your "angels," Renee Thumma. Renee has been a caretaker to our father that is 95 years old for a couple of years now and she is just wonderful and that is putting it mildly. She is one of the most caring caretakers and takes care of dad like she's related to him. She can put a smile on his face and get him to joke around when no one else can. She treats him with the utmost respect and her work ethic is beyond amazing. She keeps several of the family members informed when dad needs anything since a couple of us are several hundred miles away. She goes out of her way to make sure we know of dad's immediate needs and also of his health concerns. We are so thankful for her and many people in the workforce go unnoticed but we wanted to make sure you, the company she works for, knows how valuable of an asset she is to your organization and to our father! We are so glad that dad can count on Renee to make sure his needs are met and he is kept safe and happy in his own home! That is a blessing in itself for him to be able to stay in a clean home and feel content. We can't imagine life without Renee and especially dad. He looks forward to her home visits and that is saying ALOT!
