The service we received from Visiting Angels for our dad was nothing short of warm, caring, and professional. Porshe and Mary Pat were both so helpful and treated him with the utmost respect. Not only were they willing to provide any assistance needed, but they volunteered to do helpful things that they were not asked to do. Mary Pat was instrumental in helping us identify and confirm issues that we suspected with his care facility. Porshe not only volunteered to assemble a closet rack, but she even asked if it would be OK for her to sit on the floor while assembling it. I would not have found it offensive for her to sit on the floor, but the fact that she took the time to be certain makes a huge statement. She exemplifies the level of "above and beyond" respect that is typical of Visiting Angels caregivers.

The Visiting Angels were nothing short of a blessing! When my mother became ill, she made it very clear that she wanted to remain in her home of 50+ years for as long as possible. I live in another part of the state, and at that time it was also very hard for me to get time off of work due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Even if I had been able to be there with my mother every day, my own health problems would have prevented me from providing a lot of the assistance that my mother needed with a variety of things. My mother required 24 hour care, and we were fortunate that for the most part that she was able to have the same caregivers throughout her illness. Anytime that there was a problem of any kind, I was notified by one of the Visiting Angels. It didn't matter if it was something like the security system malfunctioning or a shortage of supplies, they always let me know promptly. I even had one of the Visiting Angels go with me to take my mother to a doctor's appointment so that I could be sure that we were able to get her into and out of her appointment safely. That was a huge relief to me because I was afraid that if I tried to take her on my own that we might both end up getting injured because of my medical problems. When my mother went to a rehab program at a nearby nursing home, her first concern once we got her moved in was , "What will my angels do while I am here ? They won't have anything to do!" The care and concern that these ladies showed my mother was remarkable even when she was not the most cooperative patient. I would recommend Visiting Angels to anyone that needs help taking care of a loved one.

Caregiver do a pretty good job about listening. I feel that they really do care about their clients. Communication could be better.

I needed help ASAP! They jumped through hoops to get me service as quickly as possible, very professional and personable. Also very responsive and respectful.
