VA were great to work with in providing assistance to my mother, who is in her 90s.The administrative staff are pleasant, patient, and very understanding of the needs and quirks of the elderly. The skills and caliber of the caregivers varies. Most were very pleasant, caring, and capable. Some were highly skilled, with professional medical training of some kind. A few were not up to the physical demands of the job or had personal habits that my mother found grating. In those cases, the staff was wonderfully flexible in reassigning caregivers to provide my mother with the caregivers she preferred. Communication was generally good, although there were occasional slip ups.

I have been employed with Visiting Angels for about three months now and my experience has been great so far. Everyone is kind and respectful towards both the clients and employees. They go above and beyond to work with my schedule and my availability. I am grateful for the opportunity and hope to grow with the company.

We have a Caregiver who comes once a week for 3 hours. She keeps an eye on my husband while I do a variety of errands & get some much needed exercise. She also washes dishes,dusts..furniture & floors & takes care of the laundry, if needed. The biggest challenge for me is letting her do those daily tasks that I have always done. It is a good feeling to come home from my errands to find husband cared for & home quite tidy. .

Visiting Angels has been wonderful. My mom is ill and my dad has not been able to leave the house to do errands, etc. because she can't be left alone. Visiting Angels comes in once a week for 3 hours and it gives my dad time for himself. Sara, our angel, brings games for my mom and her to do, they talk and sometimes she just sits with her. We greatly appreciate everything they have done for us.
