I gave a 4 overall rating because we went through some girls to find the "right fit". Presently, the overall rating is a 5 as I have had the perfect match. Speaking for myself, I have found Visiting Angels to be very "hands on" and most helpful in solving any little problems or misunderstandings. Living six hours away from my 95-year-old mother, ensuring that she can safely live in her own home is a daunting task. However, with the regular assistance of the Visiting Angels caregivers, she has been able to remain in the same home in which she lived with her husband for 75 years. Twice each day caregivers visit her home to assist in personal care tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing, as well as laundry and light housekeeping activities. Also important, Visiting Angels caregivers have provided my mother with opportunities for needed socialization. They talk together about newsworthy events, reminisce about her history and family, play cards and games. Her caregivers have become personal contacts to supplement phone communications from family members who reside outside of the area. We have been most appreciative of emergency assistance provided following a series of falls. Visiting Angels maintains regular communication with our family, and caregivers document her daily status to keep us updated about my mother's wellbeing and advising of changes in staffing assignments. And unlike other organizations used previously for my mother's caregiving services, Visiting Angels has not left her unattended when an assigned caregiver has been unable to maintain their planned schedule. We are most pleased with the professionalism of the Visiting Angels organization, and with the experience and friendliness of the caregivers who work with my mother. Highly recommended!

My aide, Teena Jackson is exemplary in all aspects. She provides anticipatory and compassionate care. Also, although I do not interact with my night shift aide, Bobbie Womack, She is very reliable and caring. The office staff, especially Shelly Womack and Shami are extremely organized and responsive to all my needs and any schedule changes.

Shelly has been fantastic. She is so caring as she calmly redirects our loved one. She provides the family and our loved one with reassurance that our loved one is cared for. She ensures that our loved one eats properly to maintain her emotional balance.

I started with Visiting Angels as a CNA/caregiver "6"years ago,"7" in April.I am honored to be a part of such a highly esteemed organization,who devotes such care n consideration to their clients n employees.To be able to work in an industry I truly love,helping people with their daily routines,assisting with their needs n wants is truly rewarding.Just to see the smile on my client's faces knowing that I was at least part of that makes me feel really good inside.Visiting Angels has always been very supportive n understanding when I've needed to take time off,for personal reasons,not many professions can boast the same.I'll continue to be a dedicated n loyal caregiver as long as they'll have me lol.In summary GREAT place to work!!!
