Visiting Angels has a great process to match the client needs with the care giver. 1. They asked details about our requirements and more specific needs online first. 2. They selected a potential care giver for us. 3. Two directors visited our house to do assessments. 4. Arrange to have the potential care giver visit with the directors. 5. We liked the care giver that they chose for us. 6. When care started, the director (Samantha) contacted us frequently to make sure we are happy with the arrangement and that our needs have been met. 7. When I requested to change the shift to an overnight shift, they accommodated our needs the same day. 8. We were able to get through the 6 weeks and I was able to sleep at night after I requested the overnight shift. It would have been impossible to get through those 6 weeks without the care giver's help. I also want to say that our care giver was great. She is smart and remembers all the specific things my wife needs. I never have to tell her twice about anything we need her to do. I want to specifically mention Samantha here since I worked with her closely and she made sure that we are completely satisfied with everything. From her, you can feel that she truly cares and not just treating this as a business transaction. I would not hesitate to recommend the Visiting Angels service should anyone needs it.

My mom absolutely loves her Angel, Linda. Before having home health care, my mom was alone in her house all day doing her daily routine but with great discomfort due to bone on bone arthritis in her shoulders. This made it very difficult to shower and dress, but she was determined to continue despite her pain. We looked into VA in the Spring of 2022; and just a short time later, she was matched up with our perfect Angel. There has been such a significant change in my mom's mood, personality, and over all well-being. She really enjoys the help, and most importantly, the company. VA has been a godsend to us. Since I live out of state, I feel great comfort and peace of mind knowing my mom has some help with showering, dressing, and laundry; someone to take her grocery shopping, to doctors' appointments, out for lunch, helps her cook/bake and keeps careful watch while she sets up her weekly pill cases. Mom has more fun, she's silly, and laughs a lot. She looks forward to Linda's visits. Oh, and did I mention, my mom will be 95 years old this year and is exactly where she wants to be -- home!
