Visiting Angels has been with us every step of the way while dealing with our Dad's terminal illness earlier this year, and now Mom's vascular dementia. We couldn't thank you enough! Visiting Angels did a fantastic job matching our Mom with her regular caregivers (5-6 days/week and almost 12 hours a day for nearly 6 months now). Mom has primarily needed good, faithful companionship and someone genuinely watching out for her (i.e, driving her around, planning and cooking meals, giving her medications, helping out in the garden, playing games and doing puzzles, and helping Mom with light household tasks which are purposeful and meaningful to her). Unfortunately, Mom's cognitive abilities and memory have declined even further, and it's now time to move her into a memory care facility which is closer to us 3 daughters. Visiting Angels was the perfect option up until this point, and they graciously fulfilled their responsibilities and genuinely cared about our Mom's well-being.
