If you are in need of assistance with elderly parents or relatives- Visiting Angels is the organization for you. They are professional, efficient but most of all compassionate and caring. Our experience is like many. My parents and sister (Mother 91 w/Dementia, Father 92 w/heart and knee issues as well as Macular Degeneration and my sister, 61 w/Down’s Syndrome) came to live with my husband and me 2 years ago. My father’s ability to care for Mom and Sister—living 800+ miles from us just became too much. When the time for us to reach out for help, we went to Visiting Angels and have never regretted it. Erin came to our home and gently spoke with my family and me to better understand our needs. She was understanding and really took the time to put us at ease. She left us with all the information and gave us time to determine what we really needed. Lena entered our world and held my hand answering my questions. I immediately connected with her. She made my life so easy by giving me information and matching caretakers (Shantel, Julia, and Kat) who had experience with the needs of my mother and sister. My father was finally able to get 4 hours each session to relax and catch up on his sleep. As my parents transition to AL and Memory Care, I know they will be in good hands. But I am not sure who will miss Visiting Angels more….my family or me. If you are in need of help with a family member or even yourself, please consider contacting Visiting Angels. I have worked here for 1 1/2 years and I have found the company to be very positive, supportive and flexible. Their first consideration is for the needs of the clients, however they are also very supportive of the caregivers to ensure the best services overall. This is a part time job for me and the office staff has been very helpful while providing me with flexible work assignments. The company provides very positive assistance and motivating activities for all employees.
