Visiting Angels is a wonderful organization

We are SO lucky that our mom found her Angel, Amanda! Amanda is a blessing: she is kind, caring, compassionate and loves our mom as much as Mom loves her! We are blessed to have found her!

Thank you to all the care givers who helped us out during my two cataract surgeries. I left Abigail off my first review. I just wanted to say she was excellent. She was here with my son the first day of my surgery and we felt very calm about leaving the two of them. She took care of Gary's bathroom needs, gave him lunch, cleaned up afterward and played Uno while we were gone. Gary enjoyed her company. I can't say enough about Sheila. It was nice to have some consistency. She was here 8 of the 9 days we needed help. She worked a double shift the very first day here, and two other 12 day shifts just so we would have someone here for Gary. She always arrived with a smile on her face and a good morning. She got Gary up and out of bed into his wheelchair each morning. She got him washed and dressed each day, made him breakfast, played Uno and Sorry with him. She even came on several walks in the neighborhood with us and swept my ramp of leaves. What a nice thing for her to do. One day after work she went to the mall with her daughter and stopped by with a pretzel and cheese for Gary on the way home because she knew he liked them. That was very sweet of her. We really enjoyed having her here and had many laughs together. Moe was very nice. He attended to Gary's bathroom needs and got him ready for and into bed. It was nice to have Zack here. He interacted well with all of us, saw to Gary's bathroom needs and got him dressed and into bed. He is going to make a good nurse. Brionna is a very lovely young lady and very friendly. She attended to Gary's needs and got him ready for and into bed, Christina was very nice and interacted well with Gary. She got him up and out of bed into his wheelchair. She got him washed and dressed for the day. She made sure Gary let her know if he needed her for anything and attended to his bathroom needs. Erin is also a very sweet young lady. She attended to Gary's bathroom needs. She brought Gary his dinner and got him ready and into bed in the evening. She is going to make a great nurse. Leah was very nice. She attended to Gary's bathroom needs and made sure he knew to let her know if there was anything else she could do for him. She got him ready and into bed in the evening. Our care giver, Sydney, provides a wonderful experience to us. She is always on time and ready to give assistance where ever needed. She helps in preparing and working on receipts. Also she enjoys reading books to my partner. My partner looks forward to having hear to share uplifting conversation while in the house or outside on the patio or during a walk.

I would like to say that LaTeshia (I think it is the right spelling) takes very good care of my Husband. She has a very good personality and very patient with Tim. My husband really like her. I like her also. She's a very good caregiver.

My caregiver Gloria Chatman has been extremely helpful. She is always cheerful and willing to help me in any way. She is willing to help me in my home as well as taking me to my medical appointments. She also shops for me and helps with my mail. I’m always glad to see her.

Our angel, Gloria Chatman, was very knowledgeable about many things and also extremely patient, compassionate, and up for doing fun things. She was so well-rounded and prepared, she should be considered for recognition. She always was willing to help do small chores around the house, too.

Gloria Chatman provides exceptional care she goes above and beyond. She is always willing to do any and everything I ask her to do and she is very helpful. The care giver is an Angel.

We have been using Visiting Angels now for three years, to spend time with my mom, 4-5 mornings per week. The ladies who come have been terrific, providing care, companionship, transportation to doctor visits, errands, and exercise. We have had particularly great experiences recently with Gloria and Kelly. Each has smoothly taken my mom to doctor visits, the rec center, and on shopping trips, as well as spending time with her on puzzles and mind-teaser games.
