Where do I start? I have been asked to write this letter on behalf of our entire family. In May we decided that a nursing home was not going to be a good fit for our Mother, Mother in law, Aunt, Nana and many other titles she went by. We reached out to Visiting Angels in hopes that we could do "better" for Bernie Bracey. Our hope was that we could find one of your employees that could "engage" with Bernie and make her feel safe and comfortable in our home. What we found was Norma Boone. From the first minute we met her we knew that she was the ONE. Little did we know that the ONE is an incredible understatement. Norma was not only caring, but she treated Bernie like she was her own Mother. I truly think that she connected with Bernie and our entire family (which is quite large) on a level we could never have expected. She laughed with us and she cried with us. She was truly a member of our family. I say all this because it's true. But you need to understand that this all happened instantly. And unfortunately it did not last as long as we had hoped. You see Bernie took a turn after just a few short weeks and passed away. Norma was there for us when hospice came in. She stayed with us as we needed to turn her every couple hours. (Without her we didn't even know we needed to do that) she comforted us with her knowledge of what we should expect and she did it with compassion so as not to alarm us of what was to come. She even came to the viewing to pay her respects in the end. That's not just an employee, that is someone who is the very bane of who you are as a company. She represents your company better than you probably could ever imagine. We could not have gotten through this ordeal without her. I hope that somehow you can recognize her for her work. She is not just another one of you employees. In fact she is exactly why your company is named Visiting Angels. Norma Boone is truly our "Angel". We will never forget her. I have been using visiting angels for the past 6 weeks for my elderly father that requires a companion for a few hours during the day. I was referred to the service by a coworker that also uses the company for her in-laws. I would def recommend the services, my father's home health aide is wonderful! -M. Toro

One month after my mother's passing, I wanted to send a letter of thanks to the Visiting Angels' staff. My mother received care for over a year. Michelle was wonderful with scheduling. Our aide, Rose A., was a professional "daughter" to my mother. She was able to motivate her on her "good days" and comfort her on her less productive days. Your agency's services were exactly what we needed as a family. Thank you for everything that you do! Sincerely, Sharon N.

Words cannot thank this company enough for helping me find a caregiver in such short notice to take care of my father with dementia after being released from the hospital. I was able to bring dad home but with great sadness he passed away within 3 days. His caregiver was Maria an absolutely beautiful person who took exceptional care of him right up to the very end. We love her for allowing him to pass with love, dignity and peace. Thank you Visiting Angels for blessing us with an Angel. Sincerely, Nancy Coccia
