First, I would like to address the behavior of the employee who originally came to my apartment. He was extremely rude from the beginning. He entered asking about a leak connected to a maintenance request that I never submitted. I was not aware of any leak, nor did I notice any leaking water anywhere in my apartment.He returned again later that evening and continued to behave unprofessionally. During that visit, he stated that he would return the following morning only to turn the water on and check whether there was still a leak. At no point did he mention shutting off the water, cutting into walls, or performing any invasive work. In fact, he specifically told us to continue using our kitchen sink as normal.The following day, I received a call requesting permission to enter the apartment. Based on the previous conversation with the same maintenance employee, I understood that they were only coming in briefly to run the water and inspect for a leak.When I returned home, I discovered that maintenance had cut into the drywall without my knowledge or consent. I was never informed that drywall would be opened or that construction-type work would be performed inside my apartment.There was dust and debris left throughout my kitchen, including on newborn baby products, my child’s highchair, clothing, and other personal belongings.This situation is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially considering I have a newborn who is highly sensitive. Cutting into drywall without properly notifying residents or taking precautions to protect personal items and baby products is completely inappropriate. The dust spread across numerous items in my home, and the lack of communication and care shown throughout this situation is very concerning.I am extremely dissatisfied with how this matter was handled and expect better communication and professionalism moving forward.
