Hope you’re well.I purchased an Audi q3 with the registration in the subject line from your Wearside branch about 6 months ago. The engine light came on a couple of months ago then again more recently. When I called to book it in I was informed it needed a full service. (Despite being under the impression this had been done on purchase but have since been informed it was only an inspection.)I’ve taken it in today and been informed by Macclesfield Audi that it needs the spark plugs changing, brake fluid and oil change doing, totalling quite a significant cost.I am writing to complain that I was not made aware of any of these costs when buying the vehicle and expect to be compensated for the cost of all three, given the length of time I have had the car.Specifically they mentioned the spark plugs should have been changed at 40k miles. As your records will show I bought the car with more mileage than that.All three of these items should have been flagged as part of your inspection before I bought the car. I’m very disappointed that I’m having to deal with this so early on after buying from what I thought was a reputable dealer.Please let me know how is best to proceed.
