To clarify when I did get through to another sales person (Melissa) after submitting an Autotrader referral I did finally get the video and communication was good and my enquiry was dealt with very quickly.

Good evening,I hope this finds you well.I’m emailing in relation to the Audi A5 Avant that I purchased on Monday the 8th of December 2025 from the Wearside branch. The registration is NJ25BGY.I purchased this vehicle with only 2697 miles present on it and placed a deposit of £14,500 which was a trade in of my reliable VW Golf. The first day I had this vehicle, the emissions fault light appeared on the dashboard and required booked into the Wearside garage on the 12th of December. The following evening, I started the vehicle and was met with Suspension and steering fault warnings which was a surprise to me for what is essentially a new car. I drove for 5 minutes to a relatives address and then turned the vehicle off. A very short while later, I attempted to turn the vehicle on and was met with a flat battery and a plethora of warnings. The vehicle was jump started (again not what you’d expect on a new car) and then I drove home. I contacted Audi assist around 21:00 hours and was met by a recovery agents at my home address near 02:00 hours, which was not ideal given I was advised it would be around an hour and could be delayed by 2 hours maximum, especially when I was working the following day at 7.The recovery agent arrived and jump started my car again, this was not what I needed.I then contacted Audi assist again and they came out the following morning on the 10th around 09:30. The vehicle was recovered to Audi Teeside after a fault was identified with the radiator, the emissions light and the door handle.Friday arrived and the sensors could not be reset on the front bumper, which is concerning when even Audi experts aren’t able to rectify a new Audi issue. I eventually received the vehicle back on the 16th of December, 7 days after it being recovered and after 8 days of not being able to drive the vehicle.Upon the return of the vehicle, the boot now does not open fully in automatic mode, and requires being manually lifted after that and also does not lift upon pressing the boot button on the key. Due to the boot not lifting fully, my elderly mother has banged her head quite hard on the catch, causing injury at the time to her head.In addition to this, the infotainment system cut out entirely one day and then yesterday morning, on Christmas morning, I turned the vehicle on and was met by yet another emissions light and there has been grinding coming from the rear nearside. This vehicle is not fit for purpose and is categorically not what you would expect of an Audi overall, never mind a £40,000 Audi.I have owned the car technically for 2 weeks and 4 days, but out of this period, I have actually only been able to drive this vehicle for 10 days and out of those 10 days, 0 of them have been issue free.I wish to hand this vehicle back to yourselves, I do not wish to own this vehicle any longer. I did not expect to buy a vehicle with this price point and be met with unreliability and to not know whether I am going to be able to turn it on or in fact make it to my destination. If this Audi is able to be replaced with exactly the same spec and model but new for the same price, I would consider this option. I need a car that is reliable, not one that I am having to schedule my days around to take to the garage or have repaired.Audi have a strong reputation to uphold, one of the many reason I chose this brand. However, this reputation is tarnished in my eyes at present.I look forward to your reply.

Looking for a used Q7, none in stock asked if any close by to test drive no response after visit to show room. Customer service not great . Went to Mercedes Wearside and they were more than helpful with follow up emails and calls arranged test drive immediately. I know where I’m spending my money !!!!

Upon arriving in your Wearside garage I was met by friendly staff that couldn’t have done more for me. I felt that the information that I received was comprehensive and gave me a good overview of what I needed and how my needs could be met. I would like to commend the sales staff for this if possible.

Had fantastic customer service from Will from start to finish would definitely recommend

car went in a week ago for fault had to call last week to get an update. 5 times the cust called and was told that someone would call him back. 6th time over 3 days and got a call..just called today and was told the advisor is off today and the cust has waited 4 hours to find out what is happening with his vehicle. Receptionist confirmed the dealership had called on numerous occasions but the cust hasnt any calls on his phone.

Good afternoon,I'm emailing from Lookers Contact Centre regarding a gentleman on the phone who owns the above vehicle wanting to discuss his service plan.He wanted to know why he had to pay for his service this year even though he had a 2-year plan in place. His plan was put in place in December 2023 and believes it covers 2 services even though he had to pay for his Oil Change Service this year.I am aware he has been in touch with VWFS who said it was expired even though he has been every month, insinuating that he got 2 services in his plan. He also isn't too pleased about the fact that his roadside assistance has run out, and no one has been in touch to renew it.He just wants an update as to what is happening and doesn't want to wait for weeks for an update. Can someone please provide an update or explanation as to why his plan expired before the two years.Kind regards,EllaElla HoodCustomer AdvisorLookers Customer Contact CentreAsama Court, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YDlookers.co.uk
