The ratings are based on several factors, however I have listed two major reasons. ; they advised secured buildings;, and the doors have been broken the whole year I was a resident. . The apartment hallway smells like weed daily. .

Trash service is poor. I don't think I should be required to pay for this service when I'm perfectly capable of taking my own trash out. Half the time the bags rip open and there's trash everywhere or they knock over the can and just leave it. Every place I've ever lived (over 12 moves) has sent a renewal letter in the mail/called and put a note on the door and if notice wasn't given by a certain date it was automatically taken as the written 30-60 days notice. I still have not seen a renewal email or notice. I got lucky because I had military orders but I still didn't get them before the 30 days so now I have to pay an extra 2k. This was an expedited transfer and I had no control on when I received my orders. There's also a window that's been clearly broken in the building next to mine and its been broken for at least 2 months. People don't pick up their dog feces or walk their dogs on leashes. My building always smells like cigarette smoke in the stairwells Love the staff at at Westchester. Tiffany was amazing for my year here but I feel like Fairfield is all about making money off of their tenants and doesn't care.

I liked the community

I could literally hear my neighbors upstairs every single step they took. While they were inordinately loud while walking or stomping through the apartment (at all times of the day or night), their floor/my ceiling also creaks extremely badly. I put in a ticket about this. It was closed without even addressing it. I was interrupted out of sleep from the first night I moved in to the last night I stayed there. I do want to say that the service team who handles maintenance requests were very quick and very thorough. But with the ceiling issue, plus the distance to my job, added to the quite hefty increase in rent if I had renewed, I knew that I was not going to stay beyond my lease.

I had no issues with the community, maintenance or management team.

The entire office staff including maintenance has been nothing short of amazing. They truly care about the concerns of the tenants and have always done things to improve the community. Very professional & proactive. I will absolutely miss living at Westchester, but GOD has other plans for my future living arrangements. Be blessed and continue to set the bar of excellent property management 🤗🥰

Pretty nice place to live but they nickel and dime you for everything and the rent is too high
