Dr Shaeffer was dismissive on my follow up appointment and completely disregarded the issues I had throughout the week after my wisdom tooth removal. Dr Shaeffer will not prescribe any pain medications except Tylenol after a procedure. I think providers have forgot that patients truly do have pain and this pain needs to be treated. Not every patient is drug seeking and not every patient is a product of the opioid crisis that healthcare created. I developed a dry socket, an infection and thrush and needed to speak to her over the weekend however she was out of town. I was referred to another oral surgeon who was out of network for me leaving me in a bind. This oral surgeon did end up calling in another antibiotic for me over the weekend and pain medications for the dry socket. I then developed thrush and had to be seen at Urgent care over the weekend as my tongue was bleeding and the inside of my cheeks were sloughing. When I saw Dr Shaeffer the following Tuesday she stated that she didn't see an issue with my mouth and everything looked fine. She spent approximately 10 seconds with me before rolling her eyes and insisting I was fine. My husband and I have both had tooth extractions with her in the past and they were flawless however this time left a very bitter taste and I will not return to her office again.

It was truly an amazing experience! I was actually dreading the extraction & the sinus surgery. It was done in no time, it was affordable, & W/no pain! The office was also so helpful, & cheerful. I highly recommend them!
